What voters need to know about state election laws

Others are happy to have done their civic duty, and now they can tune the election out.

Even though voters in some other states, such as South Dakota and Minnesota, are already starting to vote, most Texans will have to wait another month to cast early ballots. “In 2014, people really liked the no-excuse absentee voting”. It includes voters in about 30 state House districts, 15 targeted Senate districts and three congressional districts – the 2nd, 3rd and 8th.

Voters looking to cast a ballot by mail must apply by November 1.
