FXX To Air 600 Episode THE SIMPSONS Marathon
Now that more seasons of “The Simpsons” are available, the event will become the longest running marathon in TV history.
Back in late August/early September of 2014, the fledgling FXX network hit ratings gold and set a record with its 12-day, 552-episode marathon of every episode of The Simpsons that had been made to that point.
The TV channel is launching “Every”. Every Simpsons Ever will run for a staggering 600 episodes this time, with each one airing in chronological order over the course of the 13-day event.
The 600-episode event begins at noon on November 24 and runs through December 6, beating out the previous record which was held by FX’s 12-day, 552-episode Simpsons marathon in 2014.
FX Networks President and COO Chuck Saftler said, “The first ‘Every”. Ever.’ Marathon was truly so special and landmark in its cultural relevance and impact.

The marathon proved a popular stunt for them ratings-wise, and now the show has reached its 600-episode landmark they’ve chose to do it again.
The show returns to FOX on Sunday at 8 PM ET with the season 28 premiere. In the episode, when Springfield is burned to the ground, the Simpsons beg Mr. Burns to fund its rebuilding.
