Jayalalithaa remains under observation in hospital
Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, admitted to Apollo Hospitals on the night of September 22, is under observation on Saturday.
The AIADMK chief is now in stable condition, and is expected to be discharged in a few hours, according to a statement issued by Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.
AIADMK insiders said the chief minister was feeling much better by Friday noon and she was instructing all her ministers to go and do their work instead of standing around the hospital. She has started taking normal food, her fever has come down, doctors and management of Apollo have already given the statement.
In a tweet, Karunanidhi wished her a speedy recovery.
Many forms of prayers have been organised in temples, mosques and churches across Tamil Nadu for their beloved leader’s speedy recovery.
Leaders of parties including state unit chief of BJP Tamilisai Soundararajan, All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi chief Sarathkumar, an ally of ruling AIADMK, besides Dravidar Kazhagam chief Ki Veeramani wished her speedy recovery. He wished her a speedy recovery to enable her to return to official duty soon. The chief minister also announced Rs 18 crore project, which will offer training to improve skills on sales, accounts, security, nurse, sanitary helper and housekeeping areas.
