Brad Pitt hires Charlie Sheen’s divorce lawyer
It had been reported that Brad was being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation over the alleged incident onboard the private jet, but it has been claimed it is highly unlikely he will face prosecution.
“LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse against Brad Pitt”, according to a statement read by spokeswoman Officer Jenny Houser.
TMZ claimed the LAPD and LA County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) were looking into the September 14 incident, in which Pitt allegedly became “verbally abusive and physical” with his children.
The investigation, which comes just after the news of his split from Angelina Jolie, was reportedly brought about by an incident on a private plane with the 52-year-old actor’s six children, TMZ reports.
USA Today also reported that the Department of Children and Family Services says by law it can not confirm or deny investigations, according to a statement from spokesman Armand Montiel.
But asked whether the department had been alerted to any incident involving Brad, they told Business Insider: “Do you think even if we had we would share it with you?”
People, meanwhile has spoken to a source who says that while Brad was “drunk” and an argument happened, “He did not hit his child in the face in any way”. It’s unfortunate for the whole family that people are insisting on continuing this endless smear campaign against Brad that hurts everyone.
Several reports this week suggested a relationship between Cotillard and Pitt was the reason Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Monday.
As for Brad’s estranged wife, we cut to the waxworks’ ladies maid, who is fixing Angelina’s diamante necklace, which has a glint far inferior to that in madam’s own eye.
According to the latest report by TMZ, the Fight Club actor is preparing to file a law suit for the joint physical custody of his 6 children.
Pitt and Jolie have six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
The top Beverly Hills attorney will join Pitt’s Hollywood lawyer Alan Hergott to do battle with Jolie and her legal representative Laura Wasser, in what could be a very messy divorce.
“Brad has been interviewed and is cooperating fully”.
When asked if he thought the divorce was “sad”, Jackson laughed and replied: “It’s life, you know? The kids are asking to see Brad, so he’s hoping to see them next week”.
A source said at the time: “The final divorce decision was only made one week ago”.
