MNS Gives Pakistani Artistes 48 Hours To Leave India
Here’s a list of the Pak heartthrobs.
Actors like Mahira Khan (starring Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Raees”) and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” star Fawad Khan are hijacking the opportunities of Indian artistes, Shalini Thackeray, wife of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, said in a press conference.
Earlier, the MNS had given an ultimatum to the Pakistani artist working in India to leave the country within 48-hours. If they are are taking any steps, then what after that? Zee’s head honcho Subhash Chandra has hinted that channel Zindagi could completely stop Pakistani programmes from airing them..
Our source reveals that Fawad, who was in India until recently, flew out to Pakistan.
MNS workers reportedly staged a protest outside the filmmaker’s office, shouting slogans against him for casting Fawad in the forthcoming drama “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”. There is nothing that can justify this bad feeling of terror. “If this was truly a solution, then one would take it”, Johar told Barkha Dutt of NDTV. Pakistani artists don’t earn anything in their country but in India they get name, fame and money. Johar said that banishing Pakistani artists will not eradicate terrorism.
However according to The Times of India, if reports are to be believed, the actor has already left India and flown to Pakistan with no plans of returning anytime soon.
“They (the Pakistani artistes in India) are hardworking charming and talented.Pakistani singers like Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are very popular in India”.
“Yes, our people met Star, Sony, Zee and Colors and made our stand clear”.
Karan Johar also said that he understands the anger of the people but banning Pakistani stars in India will not solve the problem. Meanwhile, comedian Raju Srivastava has cancelled his upcoming show in Karachi, saying he can’t be making jokes and be amusing at a time when Indian soldiers are getting killed. “Sena since last many years is of the view that Pakistanis cannot be allowed to earn fat pay cheques here while their country goes on killing Indian soldiers”, Sena spokesperson Manisha Kayande said.
