Apple responds to user complaints that iOS 10 crashes their iPhone
This week, the company Tweeted that Apple’s latest big update could result in connectivity issues with T-mobile phones.
The new functionality will be available only for iPhone and iPad devices running the latest iOS 10, as the Siri SDK was opened to third-party developers and apps as part of the OS.
Indeed, there have been mixed reports on social media, with some users suggesting that the update had caused their devices to crash.
They said the bug left them unable to use their phones if the software update was completed by downloading it directly onto the phone, rather than through iTunes, Apple’s music playback and management platform. Apple explained that with iOS 10, a healthy dose of emojis will be redesigned to better reflect gender diversity.
These three steps should allow you to set up your iPhone. But owners of older iPhones and iPads could download and install the update starting on Tuesday.
It said Error 53, as it became known, was in fact security measure created to make sure the fingerprint sensor on the device had not been tampered with.
Despite extensive pre-release testing, major software updates sometimes go astray. The iOS 10 did not bring much changes in terms of design, but it packed a ton of features with its update. You will also see an “X” icon in the corner. What happened next, required users to connect their phone to a PC synched with iTunes to manually force the update. The company released an official statement stating that they have already fixed the issue.
Apple hasn’t precisely made us trust updating iPhone and iPad software immediately after a rollout in recent years. For this to work, you will have to grant access to Siri first.
Press and hold both the Sleep and Home buttons on your iPhone or iPad.
