Trump on accuser: ‘Take a look at her
Melania Trump has threatened legal action against People if the magazine fails to retract statements from Natasha Stoynoff’s story, which she says are false. The Trump accuser claimed she bumped into Mrs. Trump outside of Trump Tower and they had a brief talk.
In a story for People published late Wednesday night, Stoynoff alleged that Trump had physically attacked her at Mar-a-Lago while she was writing an article on his one-year wedding anniversary to his wife, Melania.
Melania Trump is threatening People magazine with a lawsuit if they don’t comply with her demands. Business Insider reported Thursday that Fox Business News anchor Lou Dobbs retweeted personal information about Jessica Leeds, who told The New York Times that Trump had assaulted her. “Because it did not happen!”
Many GOP officeholders and candidates are sticking with Donald Trump despite new allegations that he sexually assaulted women.
Zucker spoke in an interview broadcast Thursday on NBC’s “Today”. “She felt a great deal of worry and distress about it”.
She claimed he started kissing her cheeks, then he kissed her “directly on the mouth”.
Trump told supporters Thursday in OH the accusations were “false claims”, and said that media has “slandered and lied about me with false accusations”.
But many Republicans are standing by Trump, denouncing his comments toward women but supporting the policies. “You take look, look at her, look at her words, you tell me what you think”. She says that’s “probably why it doesn’t mean a lot to me”.
Trump denied these allegations, saying Stoynoff’s account “didn’t happen”. It carried the bylines of Mike Lipton and “Natasha Stoynoff in Mar-a-Lago”. “I don’t think there has ever been a more important 26 days in American history”. Obama says Republicans knew better, but were silent because it was politically convenient.
According to Ms Stoynoff, Mrs Trump asked her, “Natasha, why don’t we see you anymore?” Stoynoff wrote that the interview continued and Trump acted as though nothing happened just moments prior.
After Sunday’s debate, she was ready, he said.
Obama warned the crowd that if they don’t show up on election day to vote for Hillary Clinton, they are helping Trump. Others surveyed by BuzzFeed News said they didn’t recall Trump doing that. McCraw wrote to a lawyer for Trump that if Trump believes the law protects him from critics, “we welcome an opportunity to have a court set him straight”.
Numerous details in Stoynoff’s written account – from the description of the assignment that led her to the Trump family Florida estate where the alleged attack took place to her warm interactions with Trump’s wife months after the fact – reminded Mallick of the coworker she described as exceptional.
