Capcom has sold 1.5 million HD remastered Resident Evils 4
The gaming community still loves Resident Evil apparently, even in its many re-released forms.

Resident Evil VII will be available on January 24th, 2017 for PC, PS4, PlayStation VR, and Xbox One. As it plans to enrich its storytelling prowess, the video game is also set to shy away from the “gun-toting” approach of its predecessors, “Resident Evil 5” and “Resident Evil 6”. Capcom and iam8bit have put together a Resident Evil Escape Experience in honor of the series’ 20th anniversary.
When asked whether the remake of “Resident Evil 2” is underway, he said that the specific title has a different producer, hence his inability to give concrete details about the remake. Further, he assured fans that the team has been working hard for the remake and they hope to share new information as it develops more.
