Health premium news gives attacks to GOP Senate candidates
A majority of Republican voters say they would trust GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump to lead their party over House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, according to a new poll released on Tuesday – an apparent rebuke of the prominent Republican over his ongoing rift with the NY businessman.
The governor has said that his own economic development agency will now take over managing contracts awarded by the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute.
A less pessimistic Senate Republican aide said Senate control still “could go either way” but sketched out problems.

The leader of the Senate GOP, John Flanagan, was very enthusiastic about Trump at the National Convention back in July.
The suit claims the RNC has not sufficiently denied Donald Trump’s claims that the election is rigged, CNN reported. “I tried everything. They’re not going to do it”.
“The filing is completely meritless”, said Lindsay Walters, a spokesman for the Republican committee.
In his county, he noted, Republicans are running unopposed for county-level offices.

And now that she’s opened up a consistent lead, Clinton, President Obama and Michelle Obama and other top Democratic surrogates have trained their sights on down-ballot races. But he says, that should not be confusing to voters. In one debate, she said he would be a good role model for children – then afterward issued a statement ditching that position. Moving, say, 20 districts from competitive to out-of-reach could save a party $100 million or more over the course of a decade.
“We’ll cut the maximum checks that we can to the Senate races”, Weaver said, adding that the rest of the donated funds will go to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Still, a senior Senate Democratic aide said, “We have a lot more paths to a majority than they do”.
