New Apple MacBooks and Microsoft unveils the Surface Studio

Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 8 rumors continue to ramp up. The will reportedly be refreshed MacBook Air laptops unveiled during the event though, and rumor has it we’re also in store for some Apple TV news.

This is probably why Apple released a cheaper-yet-not-quite-economy-class iPhone SE to cater to developing markets like China and India.

According to Scobble, the Cupertino-based company has set up a large 600-member team, just for the display sensor. Sources seem confident about a likely twist in the gadget’s name as well, calling it the iPhone 8 rather than the expected S upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is built from the combination of metal and glass which looks premium and feels good while holding the device. Oddly enough, Apple and industry analysts expected the majority of Note 7 customers to go for the iPhone 7 Plus, and not the 4.7-inch model, but according to these figures, the smaller version remains super appealing for buyers. Supporting these speculations, Nikkei Asian Review mentioned in their post that these three iPhone 8 variants will drop the metal casings and will instead use glass backs supplied by Biel Crystal Manufactory and Lens Technology. While the white antennas will be made colorless and hidden around the edges.

Apple’s forecast also represents a modest increase over the $75.8 billion in sales that Apple reported for the December quarter last year, and it suggests the company expects to beat last year’s record of 74.8 million iPhones sold in that period, which is traditionally Apple’s biggest quarter for sales.

Apple’s fortunes are strongly tied to the success of the iPhone, which accounts for two-thirds of its revenue.

The iPhone 7 is just over a month old, yet tech fans are already looking forward to the next-generation device slated to be released next year.
