Team17 Announces Worms 4, Coming To iOS In August

Team17 has announced two new additions to its Worms series.

Mickey Torode, Team17’s Marketing Director said, “2015 is a special year for us as it marks both Worms 20 birthday and Team17’s 25 anniversary”.

The game will remain a premium mobile title, however, and will not be free-to-play.

Worms WMD arrives for PC and Xbox One in 2016, while Worms 4 wriggles onto iPhone, iPod and iPad in August.

However it has been designed for mobile so the landscape will be smaller, your teams will be smaller, and your match lengths will be shorter, which makes sense if you’re gaming on the go. As well as synchronous online multiplayer battles, there are 80 singleplayer missions and over 100 weapon upgrades.
