Is That Zombie Trump on ‘The Walking Dead’?
“The Walking Dead” official Facebook page cover photo. The scenes I’m writing about are those between Dwight and ex-wife Sherry, awkward encounters that are enough to let you know that Negan has driven a stake between these two, and neither are very happy about it though both are willing to go with the flow.
The synopsis for episode four, “Service”, reads, “The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit”. She showed sympathy for Daryl, but warned him that his actions have consequences. But it isn’t Easy Street that does it – it’s Roy Orbison’s Crying, coupled with a Polaroid image of the bloody patch of dirt that used to be Glenn. It is an obscure song, but it’s pretty catchy. “But I have to say, when EASY STREET came on and Daryl, the biggest badass on TV, was laying there being tortured and eating dog food sandwiches, even I hated the song for a minute!” I think with how this episode ends, if Daryl would have said he’s Negan, it would have completely belittled every single thing Glenn was about. Then again, wouldn’t you say Negan’s world is the ideal escape from this election madness? More than anything, it showed Dwight to have a disposition strikingly similar to Daryl’s, but somehow inverted, more corrupted. Which brings us to another problem: Negan. It’s not only a slight at Dwight, but it serves as a reminder to the lieutenant that what was once his is now Negan’s. Something tells me Negan isn’t the most loving of husbands. “I can definitively say that my dear friend Liz is not playing Laura, as that is me”. Rick was so scared and defeated in the “TWD” premiere and it seems that Negan will be doing that to a lot of characters this season. We’ve already seen different reactions to Negan’s takeover – with Maggie and Sasha heading off to Hilltop, Daryl still refusing to bow to Negan, and Rick basically collapsing under the weight of his own responsibilities. This Way Is Definitely Not Fun. It’s in his quieter and even collected moments that Negan shows us just how villainous he truly is.
“And as things go on, she needs to do right by people and honour her husband and take care of her child, and those things might become things that make a good person to look up to”.
“Points” as a whole are Negan’s system of currency in The Sanctuary. “You won’t get away, and when you get back, it’ll be worse”.
“Whatever he’s done to you, there’s more, there’s always more”, she told Daryl. Why you took it.
