The iPhone 8 is going to have an even bigger screen
It is speculated that Apple will also work with Sharp to come up with new iPhone 8 screens. It is said that the Apple’s iPhone for 2017, presumably and most likely to be called as iPhone 8, will offer its users new exciting features. Two major things that point towards this major upgrade? Unlike the Xiaomi Mi MIX, this will mean the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus do not feature bottom bezels.
iPad Mini 5 has reportedly been just pushed back to a 2017 release instead of coming out this year.
“Some people have asked why we would remove the analog headphone jack from the iPhone”, said Schiller.”It comes down to one word, courage”. Time sure does fly. We’ve worked hard collecting and compiling everything you need to know on this early holiday sales event including Sam’s Club Black Friday 2016 deals on TVs, smartphones, and many more.
According to a new report from GSM Arena, the Cupertino company is working on refreshed models of the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro which could see the end of daylight before mid-2017. The iPhone 8 will sport a 5-inch display, while the Plus model will go up to 5.8-inches.
There is also a strong belief according to Barclays Research that iPhone 8 models will have curved displays.
A bigger and better battery, a highly-improved display and a 4GB RAM are also expected in the device.
Would the addition of an OLED curved display push you towards the larger iPhone 8 Plus? To further reinforce Kuo’s predictions, Barclays has also claimed that the new iPhone will have the all screen, bezel-less design. It was rumored a few days ago that there would be no second iPhone SE next year.
Samsung has been busy in the Android world with edge-to-edge screens and in fact, it has been rumored that next year’s Galaxy S8 will come with this design on both variants. All of them would be great to have on the new iPhone, though, but stay tuned for more updates as the company prepares its new model.
Keep in mind that all these details are still in the rumor stage for the time being and it’s better to take them with a healthy pinch of salt.
