Early voting ending in Texas after setting turnout record

The Maryland State Board of Elections reports 74,052 voted on Sunday; 80,283 people voted on Saturday; 123,020 people voted on Friday; and 122,880 voted on Thursday.
Republicans have cast 2,093,586 ballots, or 39.74 percent, and Democrats have cast 2,091,753 ballots, or 39.71 percent.

“This is way above average”, Sims said, noting that voting by absentee ballots is different than the in-person absentee voting that will begin Thursday.
