Kelly says it’s important people learn of Trump’s actions

Kelly drew a contrast between what her daughter observed after attending Fortune’s Most Powerful Women conference with her and the word in question.

Kelly said that after the segment aired, an angry Trump called and told her that “I nearly unleashed my lovely Twitter account on you, and I still may”. In the shocking excerpt obtained by Us Weekly, the Kelly File host, 45, recalls that the unwanted advances “started in the summer of 2005” after she’d been informed that she had “captured the attention of Mr. Ailes” and was being “fast-tracked” within the company after just one year.

In her new memoir, Settle for More, Kelly describes how an unexpectedly anxious Trump complained to Fox News executives a year ago about what she’d do as a moderator of the debate.

In 2006, Kelly told her then-office-mate Major Garrett, now at CBS News, about the alleged harassment, and said he “was stunned and had never heard of Roger behaving that way”.

Kelly revealed she was called up to NY for a meeting and that’s when things got awful.

But I’m not going to even bother with it”, he said. “I don’t think he’d have spent a lifetime doing it and suddenly turn over a new leaf”. She declined to say Tuesday whether she would stay.

Kelly also said Trump was close to her former boss, Roger Ailes.

KELLY: Well, I mean by far the tweet that bothered me the most was that of Trump’s top lawyer, Michael Cohen, who is a senior executive with the Trump Organization. What does that tell you about what kind of president Donald Trump will be, and how can you put that all aside in covering him?

“It is sort of like a tale of two cities, where you’ve got Reince Priebus, who is more establishment which Trump has been railing against and Stephen Bannon who spent his entire career railing against the establishment”, said Kelly Tuesday.

A week before the August 6, 2015, primary debate, Kelly reported on a Daily Beast story about divorce proceedings between Donald Trump and Ivana Trump in which Ivana testified that he raped her. They just want to do their jobs.
