Kate Upton Tweets Disgust At Cy Young Award Vote

The BBWAA should be beyond that by now, but it was an odd vote.

Verlander received 14 first-place votes to eight for Porcello, but slipped behind him because he was left off two of the 30 ballots, which each allowed five pitchers to be named.

When asked about the salvos from Upton during his conference call with the media Wednesday night, Porcello took the high road.

“I feel bad that people are upset about this; I did the best I could”, he said.
