Unusual tiff between Fox’s Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly
“Oh, stop!” Kelly replied, as King and co-hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O’Donnell laughed.
“He would call me into his office and he would engage in a kind of cat and mouse game with me”, she said.
Kelly said she rejected Ailes, who responded by asking about when her contract was up. Her name recognition increased, but she was doing fine before Trump, Kelly added. “That is what happened in my case”. I’ve had enough of it.
While it was quite clear Ailes had the hots for her, Kelly apparently had no idea her boss was also making advances at every other leggy blonde who worked at the news company. Kelly told USA Today that she does not think that Trump had knowledge of the question beforehand, but did have a hunch because of a segment she did. “… At times his humor would be over the top, but it didn’t bother me much”. There was no one to go to’.
Ailes has denied all of the allegations against him, including Kelly’s.
Kelly claims she then sought legal advice and although she realized Ailes had crossed a line, she didn’t want to sue.
Kelly has been busy promoting her book. Between President-Elect Donald Trump and Duggar, Kelly has had a rough go at it over the last two years. And with that, we know now, for a certainty, that we can count on Megyn Kelly to defend Bannon and Trump, no matter what godawful shit they do next. And he’s had my back.
“He crossed a new line – trying to grab me repeatedly and kiss me on the lips”.
When Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit claiming former Fox News chairperson and CEO Roger Ailes had sexually harassed her for years, the Murdochs launched their own investigation into Ailes’s behavior.
Responding to Ailes’ statement, Kelly said “both things can be true”.
She added, “I am proud of them that they feel as I do, which is sunlight is the best disinfectant”. She declined to say Tuesday whether she would stay.
“I want the other women out there suffering to know it can happen to anybody – even somebody like me, who had been a lawyer for nine years”, she said, “because I do think women tend to blame themselves”.
‘In my opinion the Murdochs, who are running Fox News Channel, now are honorable men who want to do what’s right and who have a great vision for Fox News’. “This was not somebody you would take on lightly”, Kelly said.
‘This is my philosophy, that I need to settle for more, so I’m going to do that’.

‘It was a test of me as a person and a professional’.
For the past year, Megyn Kelly became a target for Donald Trump almost as often as his political rivals, but the Fox News anchor says she was able to learn from the trying experience.
She says she’s faced sexual harassment.
A senior executive at Fox, Bill Shine, called Michael Cohen and tried.to stand him down on the threatening rhetoric, explaining “Look, let me put it in terms you can understand: If Megyn Kelly gets killed, it’s not going to help your candidate”.
