Prosecutors raid Samsung office in SKorean political scandal

The offices of Samsung Future Strategy Office, the control-tower of the entire Samsung Group, is located at Samsung Electronics’ headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, and was the target.

Samsung and the prosecutor’s office declined to comment on the allegations reported by Yonhap.

Choi’s daughter was previously a member of the South Korean national equestrian team and trained in Germany. Local media describe a Svengali-like dynamic between Choi – whose father was said to have major influence over Park’s father – and the president. Who is Choi? She is a longtime friend and adviser to President Park Geun-hye, who’s at the center of Korea’s widening abuse-of-power scandal. Her approval raiding has plummeted to 5 percent.
