Apple planning to take iPhone 8 camera quality to the next level
Apple has been rumored to have dropped the LCD screen in favor of an OLED one for its impending iPhone 8, which is slated to debut in 2017.
Trump has long promised to put an end to the proliferation of Chinese-manufactured products in the USA, and to do so he has floated instating a tax as high as 45 percent on Chinese goods.
In a report by MacRumours, they informed the readers that Kuo stated fans should look forward to new 2017F iPhones to appear in three models: one OLED variant, and two TFT-LCD models with a display of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch respectively.
Without any formal announcement on the features of the latest iPhone 7 2017 version, rumors are the only sources of information on what the new 2017 iPhone 7 can offer. The company says it has begun contacting those who have already paid for such a fix, but urges customers who think they’re affected to reach out and contact Apple Technical Support to expedite the process. I noted in the report that “Some, like Presidential candidate Donald Trump, think that if Apple was given the right tax beaks to bring back their money that’s offshore and get Foxconn to open a plant in the U.S., that it could bring back needed jobs to America”.
Biometrics such as iris scanning and facial recognition are expected to be included in the new iPhone 8.
The iPhone 8 that will equip the OLED technology is said to feature new advancements as well. And that’s assuming Apple would be able to source all of the same components in the US.
Unlike past iPhone fix programs-a list which includes the power button and battery in the iPhone 5 and the camera in the iPhone 6 Plus-Apple is charging a $149 service fee to replace iPhones affected by the problem. While the report does not unveil any firm plans of the California-based tech giant to take iPhone manufacturing to the homeland, it is clear that the action would result in significantly high production costs leading to unaffordable iPhone cost. The company is thought to be returning to a glass-backed design for the upcoming handsets, a style last used on the iPhone 4.
As of now, nothing is still certain on the screen size augmentation Apple is going to adapt.
