Witnesses describe plane crash that killed 2

Autopsies for the two victims of the plane crash was conducted on Thursday, according to WGN.

A Boston private equity firm executive and his daughter were killed Wednesday evening after their single-engine plane crashed and erupted in flames at a small Milwaukee airport, according to officials and the victim’s employer.

“People here are obviously pretty shaken up”, Callahan said.

Milwaukee firefighters and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office are at Timmerman Airport on the city’s northwest side this hour- where a small passenger plane is engulfed in flames. Timmerman Airport on Wednesday, according to local news reports.

He was on the board of several nonprofits and once worked under former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.

“Joe was a pillar of support to everyone in his life, and certainly to Brooks School”, John Packard, Head of School, wrote in an e-mail sent to the Brooks community.

“It looked like the wing broke off and it spun the plane around, and there was just a line of fire, right away”, Gipp said. “The plane goes below my vantage point, and then all I see was the explosion and the smoke and the flames going up in the air”.

Trustey, who joined Summit Partners in 1992, was described as an industry leader by his long-time employer.

“Anna was beloved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was good to the core”, he said.

“He touched everybody he met with his intellect, his sterling character and his engaging sense of humor”, Mannion said.
