Wife of Bills kicker implies that Richard Sherman should be castrated
It certainly will not go unnoticed, though, that the Bills would have been able to kick a game-tying field goal there were it not for an officiating train wreck at the end of the first half.
Monday night’s Seahawks-Bills game was surprisingly action-packed – at least when you consider both teams’ relative lack of offense this season.
The Bills ended up losing 31-25 to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night, the third straight loss for Buffalo. That set up the Bills with a first down at Seattle’s 23 with 1:01 remaining. You can have a late hit which I think it was. “He’s going out there doing the things we’re asking him to do and he played his butt off today”. “We’ve dealt with missed calls all year”. “If we’ve endured it, I think we’re in pretty good shape”.
No penalty was called for unnecessary roughness, and after the officials called the Bills for delay of game despite their failure to reset the play clock, Carpenter missed a 54-yard attempt to end the half.
Instead, it was only offsides, and with trainers attending to Carpenter, it was determined that he had to leave the field for a play since the Bills had no timeouts.
But that was pushed back 5 yards – and subsequently pushed wide right – when Buffalo was flagged for a delay of game, even though it was the officials themselves who delayed the snap. He was offside and dove at our kickers’ leg while he was in motion.
Sherman denied any idea that the play was dirty.
Seattle’s been the center of insane Monday night moments in the past.
It took fewer than 90 seconds after the opening kickoff for Buffalo to make a game-altering play, when defensive end Jerry Hughes blocked a Seattle punt after the Seahawks went three-and-out on their first possession. Tyrod Taylor blasted the “horrible” MNF refs.
Taylor’s next march got to the Seattle 30 before a Cordy Glenn tripping penalty stalled Buffalo.
That play may have been the exclamation point, but Woods’ knack for helping to keep drives alive was an issue for Seattle all night long. He made smart throws.
The play may have ultimately cost the Bills a chance to win.
Graham is a little more than 100 yards behind Greg Olsen, the current receiving leader among tight ends this season. The second was spectacular. He finished with eight catches for 103 yards, leading all Seattle receivers.
After trailing 7-0 and 14-7 in the first quarter, the Seahawks scored three unanswered touchdowns (including two from Graham) to lead 28-17 at half-time.
However, Taylor was sacked on the next two plays and could not thread the needle on 4th and goal from the 15.
And if that wasn’t enough, Graham hurdled Stephon Gilmore in the open field.
Wilson then darted over from three yards to level for Seattle before the Bills regained the lead when Taylor connected with Justin Turner from five yards. I just talked to Dean before I came in here so I could tell you that. Harvin was in for a small handful of play but was not targeted and was not used on special teams. “The holder still had it so I didn’t hear (any) whistle”, Sherman said. I went for the ball. “That was one of my big things”.
