Daryl may have quietly made ‘The Walking Dead’ great again

Is “The Walking Dead” now officially past its expiration date as an exorbitant TV hit? As a screenwriter, you want to make sure that your audience isn’t in the same place for too long, so you occasionally switch up the locations to give the audience something new to look at. This season will have a different feel. Gregory must have pissed his trousers when Simon told him they needed to discuss something.

As for the others, they haven’t been through what Rick went through with Negan. Now The Walking Dead episode six brings you “Swear” with a synopsis that states, “Someone stumbles upon a brand new society, and this society is unlike anything seen before”. Hopefully he gets his comic death soon! They were also swollen from the beating Daryl got from the Saviors.

One of the best scenes in the episode is Negan meeting Father Gabriel. “I would like to live in a world where Daryl Dixon residuously learns Morse code and knows that Rick has an intimate knowledge of Morse code, as well, and that they have practiced this with blinks”.

There’s something else that’s even more convincing, however. While he usually gets the last word, Daryl keeps his mouth shut, and doesn’t beg Negan to stay in Alexandria.

“Nobody died”, said Negan as he left. However, a promo clip reveals that the community is threatened by Simon, one of the Saviors. Make me a bullet, she demanded. It’s just a really great group to be a part of. Enid, holding onto those balloons, in memory of Glenn.

Rick, in his haste, found the two missing guns in Spencer’s [Austin Nichols] home, noting how much food and alcohol he was hiding as well, seeing in his eyes how weak he was. Because Negan can do what he wants. He may look like a subservient puppy to Negan’s every fantastical whim at the moment, but he’s no dummy.
