Revere, acquired for two minor league right-handers, is batting. In 388 plate appearances this season Revere is hitting.298/.334/.374 for an OPS of.709, a career high, with 24 stolen bases.

Revere is one of the most underrated pieces on the trade market this offseason, and would be an excellent pickup for the Blue Jays. “Your locker is ready for you when you arrive!” With such an outstanding Offense ahead of him, Revere should fly after having two vastly underrated seasons in Philly. In the mean time, the club placed second baseman Devon Travis on the disabled list to make room on the 25-man roster for Price. Tulowitzki is signed through 2020 and Revere is under team control through 2017.

The Blue Jays had to get over some unfortunate injuries to pitcher Marcus Stroman and outfielder Michael Saunders, but luckily Devon Travis, Josh Donaldson, Marco Estrada and Russell Martin have stepped in and made a positive impact.
