Cogill: Harry Potter Fans Will Love “Fantastic Beasts”
And now, another J. K. Rowling film “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” would be facing a dark wizard. Its no Hogwarts, but the film is loveable in its own unique way.
If the stars on screen are feeling the magic, there’s a good chance you will, too. It’s set in 1920s NY city, many decades before The Boy Who Lived. lived.
Ever since the release of Avatar, we were overdue for a conservationist movie for the masses.
Now that you know a little more about the movie, will you be able to watch it on Netflix if you can’t make it out to the theaters, or even if you did?
Newt Scamander (Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne who perfects his Hugh Grant bumble here) is an expert when it comes to the titular fantastic beasts. “It’s nearly like a museum for a Harry Potter fan”.

I was also sad because there was no Harry Potter or Ron Weasley or Dumbledore.
“It’s not just that the players and settings are unfamiliar to fans, but the lead characters are older than Harry, Hermione, and Ron”, Robbins added.
“Fantastic Beasts” is a litmus test for producer Warner Brothers and author Rowling as they plan to produce five more films, without Harry Potter himself.
Brian Truitt disagrees. Yes, Fantastic Beasts “tries to do way too much in two hours” but it’s still “a confident and surprisingly amusing adventure that’s more charming than most of the eight Harry Potter films”, he writes at USA Today.
