Four people dead after private jet crashes into vehicle auction in UK
Four people were feared dead after a private jet crashed today at a auto auction site while trying to land at an airport in Hampshire. Andrew Thomas, who was at the centre, told the BBC that “the plane nosedived into the cars and exploded on impact”.
Footage of the aftermath of the crash showed plumes of black smoke rising into the sky and several cars on fire in the outdoor area of British auto Auctions, where vehicles were parked awaiting sale.
She said: “The portals were usually squawking too much plus the airplanes was in fact working to reach – I’m a glider conduct but i belief it’s i’m sure you realize that low to effectively ground”.
Speaking to the Telegraph, a spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We can confirm we are in attendance”.
The light aircraft, a Phenom 300 Jet, crashed during an attempt to land at Blackbushe Airport.
A spokesman for the Hampshire Fire Service said crews were notified at 3.10pm on Friday.
“We’re dealing with an air emergency incident at Blackbushe Airport”.
Hampshire police and the Air Accident Investigation Branch are undertaking a joint probe to determine the cause of the accident, said Inspector Venner.
