Tight finish awaits in Vizag Test
But it was Broad who began India’s relative struggles.
Beginning the day with hopes of batting out for a draw in the second Test, England lost five wickets in the morning session and were eventually bowled out for 158.
India scored 455 in its first innings, and England replied with 255 with the hosts deciding not to enforce the follow-on. “We have maintained nice momentum as far as the first two games are concerned”, said the Man of the Match.
The Indian bowlers kept the pressure on England, not giving away any cheap runs.

“It was a right call because we wanted to get wickets”.
Maintaining a fine over rate, Indian spinners ran through the opening hour bowling 20.4 overs and were quick to get the second new ball in 80 overs and get their exhausted reviews quota renewed.
“We are happy with the way things went”. It was not easy for them to pick all those wickets.
“It was a bit of a shame but I think that if you’d offered us two down after 60 overs on the afternoon on day four on this pitch, we’d have taken it, “Broad told Sky Sports after stumps. As we saw, cracks are opening up”.
