Cleveland Cavaliers Lebron James Will Rest During Game Against Indiana Pacers

It’s probably easier to see these things knowing Cleveland is the NBA’s reigning champions, but they still seem poignant.

But buyer beware. James has missed six games in this scenario and half of them have come in Indianapolis.

The Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers have two more games to play during the regular season.

So what’s happening with the defense now that wasn’t happening when the Pacers were giving away buckets like Halloween candy?

Although they have Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, and although James is trying to turn more control of the offense over to Irving this season, James remains the engine that revs the Cavs. As a result, we like the Pacers’ prospects of enhancing that home mark even further. The Raptors stayed within one or two scores in a finish marred by some questionable whistles on both sides, but couldn’t get back on top to notch anything more than a moral victory that, for their part, they’re not all that interested in claiming.
