FBI Ends Probe Into Brad Pitt Child Abuse Allegation

Brad Pitt is in the middle of a challenging custody battle with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

The FBI will no longer be investigating the Allied star’s alleged September 14 plane incident, the bureau told ET can confirm.

Brad Pitt has officially been cleared by the FBI following an investigation for child abuse during an incident on an airplane with his family.

Because the alleged incident took place during a flight, it fell under the FBI’s jurisdiction. Accused of having behaved violently towards one of his children, Maddox, during a flight, the actor of 52 years was under investigation by the FBI.

The reunions were supervised by a therapist as part of the couple´s temporary custody agreement – mediated by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services – which was recently extended. Pitt’s representatives have not made any comments about the charges being dropped though the FBI stated that it has closed the investigation. As if now the kids are staying with their mother with “therapeutic visits” from the father. It is noteworthy that this report emerges after Brad is cleared in an investigation against him that he ever used an abusive style of dealing with couple’s kids.
