Reports began to surface as early as Monday that the Colts were planning to start Scott Tolzien against the Steelers with Luck in the concussion protocol.

The primary shoo-in for Luck would be Scott Tolzien, who would make his first start in a Colts’ uniform in addition to his first start in three years. The Steelers defeated the Colts 51-34 in 2014 and 45-10 in 2015, games that saw Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throw for over 800 combined yards, 10 touchdowns, and zero interceptions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have had a odd season starting it with a three-game suspension of All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell and then losing Ben Roethlisberger right about the halfway point to a minor knee scope.

Without any real knowledge of Tolzien and what he can bring, the Steelers should have no issues scoring against a bad Colts defense and they cap off Turkey Day with several touchdowns.
