Bill Goldberg Signs Deal To Appear In 2017 WWE Royal Rumble
The 2017 WWE Royal Rumble will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
IS THAT IT? Bill Goldberg’s entrance lasted longer than his match against Brock Lesnar.
The news comes one night after Goldberg’s shocking win over Brock Lesnar. The buildup has improved with both men having a lot to improve. The answer seems obvious, but it’s all part of aWWE’s big plan.
Besides the confusing main event outcome the traditional survivor series team matches lived up to the expectations of fans. Which fight would WWE fans love to see the most? If this indeed happens, this will be Goldberg’s second ever appearance at the Royal Rumble.
Goldberg seemed interested in the jab and eventually announced he would be one of the 30 WWE stars at the Royal Rumble set for January 29, 2017, WWE.com reported.
Previously, he was under contract with WWE just for this dream match with Lesnar.
Tonight’s match took everyone by surprise. Most egregiously, the hotly-anticipated match between Lesner vs. Goldberg was a travesty that ranks among WWE’s worst booked PPV finishes. He’s scheduled to join 29 other participants for the chance at a title shot at Wrestlemania 33.
It’s now been revealed that the former WCW Champion is due to stick around, and even compete in the Royal Rumble, while a third clash with Lesnar is also reportedly in the works.
The “WWE Survivor Series 2016” concluded with some unexpected twists. Based on the latest events in WWE’s stage, this is not going to be the end for Goldberg. History has a odd way of repeating itself in WWE. Immediately after that announcement was made, people started to wonder whether or not the man he embarrassed on Sunday night at Survivor Series would do the same, Brock Lesnar.
Whilst Goldberg is a bona fide megastar, could that first Lesnar defeat have helped someone else more than it will have Goldberg?
