South Korea President’s Office Explains Purchase Of 360 Viagra Pills
Park has already been accused by state prosecutors of being part of a scheme with a private confidante and presidential office aides to pressure conglomerates into making donations as well as giving away government secrets.
That made Park the first South Korean president to become a criminal suspect while in office.
The saga took on a unusual twist when rumors swirled of Choi’s links to a religious cult, depicting her as a “shaman” who has been manipulating Park through supernatural means and even comparing her to Russian mystic Rasputin. He believes she’ll try to hang on, as she’s immune from criminal indictment until she’s out of office. If it can not summon the president because her title has constitutional immunity from criminal action, it must storm into the Blue House to get necessary evidence.
“It is time for the prosecution to step up and request an arrest warrant for Park should she refuse to comply with another request for a face-to-face questioning”, a prosecutor wrote in the prosecution’s internal website server on Wednesday.
The office of South Korea’s president has been forced to explain a mass purchase of Viagra, claiming the hundreds of erectile dysfunction pills were bought to treat altitude sickness while the president and her staff visited several African countries.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office said investigators were sent to an office on Wednesday used by the senior presidential secretary for civil affairs to secure documents and other evidence.
Now Park Gyeun-hye has been left friendless. Even within her own Saenuri party, 50 members of parliament have raised the banner of revolt.
It says none of the pills were used.
The effort would then have to be adjudicated in a constitutional court, a process that could take several months. Instead, the MPK and its allies are hoping to channel the public anger against Park into support for its candidates in next year’s presidential election. But, he added, “Even if I’m wrong: If she stays, power vacuum”. This has led many in South Korea to accuse the president of having a “shamanistic relationship” with a non-sanctioned consigliere.
The special prosecutor will take over the probe from the special investigative unit after the launch. The protesters chanted in unison that the President should “come out and surrender”.

It is hard to fathom why Park can not trust her own country’s prosecutors.
KANG: And we’ll see whether she can actually survive another 12 months or so. If an impeachment motion passes, the president is suspended and the prime minister serves as acting leader.

The announcement comes a day after prosecutors said Park acted as an accomplice in a corruption and influence peddling case, that has sparked strong indignation in the country and intensified demands for her resignation. Park’s spokesman in a statement denied the allegations and called them, quote, “unfair political attacks”.
