Ted Cruz stands by calling President Obama a sponsor of terrorism
Cruz’s remarks came after U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice admitted that a portion of the funds released to Iran will inevitably go towards terrorism.
Time to try a different approach?
“We’ve had a sitting senator, who also happens to be running for president, suggest that I’m the leading state sponsor of terrorism”, Obama said during a press conference from Ethiopia.
During a recent Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, lawmakers accused Kerry and his team of being “bamboozled” and “fleeced” by the Iranian government during the negotiations. “So Mitt Romney’s tweet today said, ‘Gosh, this rhetoric is not helpful, ‘” Cruz said in a radio interview Thursday.
Ted Cruz during Wednesday’s Iran deal hearing messing around with top Obama Cabinet officials, including the annoying Secretary of State John Kerry and the somehow even more annoying Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz. Needless to say, Cruz didn’t specify what substantial issues he objects to in the deal, except that it is very, very bad, and also is bad for our allies, who are Israel.
“When you send billions of dollars to jihadists, trying to kill Americans, you bear responsibility for the murder they carry out with the money you have given them“, Cruz said on the “Chad Hasty Show”.
WASHINGTON-Mitt Romney wants Sen. Ted Cruz, President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran is essentially financing terrorism.
“We need to stand up and speak the truth with a smile”, he said.
Said Cruz, “Here are the facts:”.
The candidate’s concerns are that the estimated billion Iran is going to receive from the sanctions being lifted will flow into the hands of terrorist groups. But though it would be foolish to deny that these candidates to help their campaigns are using Iran, there’s more substance here than is being acknowledged by most of those commenting on it. The terror angle to the Iran agreement has been largely swept under the rug by the administration.
And I stand with Cruz, he is absolutely correct!
