Pakistani air force chief warns India against full-scale war
“Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has condemned in the strongest words the unprovoked firing by Indian security forces on a civil bus carrying innocent civilians along LoC near Neelum valley today”, said a statement by his office. He said the “mutual sequestration” of the India-Pakistan economies was holding back the region from becoming a “boomzone”.
Johnson vowed to work with Pakistan on economic and security fronts to boost the ties adding that Pakistan sacrificed a lot in fight against terror.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s air force chief has warned India against escalating the Kashmir issue into ‘full-scale war’.
“We are fully aware of the escalation in conflict arising from the Uri incident in Occupied Kashmir…”
Sharif’s remarks, made during a high-level meeting chaired to review the LoC situation, came a day after Pakistan claimed that nine of its civilians and three soldiers were killed in firing by the Indian Army.

A senior army official told Mirror that since September 29, Indian and Pakistani soldiers have exchanged fire in different sectors of Jammu and Kashmir more than 300 times. He said over one hundred and fifty people have so far been martyred by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

The protests have largely subsided but a crackdown on suspected protesters is continuing.
