Moss regains unwanted F1 record after Rosberg title

Rosberg needed to overtake Verstappen, the youngest driver to win an F1 race who has earned a reputation for his risky, borderline unsafe overtaking and has upset other drivers this season.
Rosberg reacted by tossing it straight back at Hamilton even quicker than it had arrived. However, this was not meant to be – even at its slowest, the Mercedes auto was still too quick for its rivals.
His attempt to push Rosberg into the clutches of those behind him, by deliberately slowing the pace in the closing laps to the concern of team bosses, produced a nail-biting finish with the top four separated by just 1.6 seconds. Frustrating for Rosberg, but great for us fans. Or was it more down to Hamilton’s mechanical misfortunes? Why didn’t Rosberg try and overtake on track?
“Or we could go to the more harsh side that we feel the values were not respected”.
After the dust settled, Hamilton was asked to explain his late-race tactics.
But after what happened in Austria, both were warned by Mercedes that they risked having team orders imposed on them.
So, Hamilton could be kicked off the team?
Rosberg, who needed to finish no lower than third to take the crown, held on, but said it was hard to concentrate with Sebastien Vettel close on his tail in third.
The three podium finishers each get a cap: with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd written on them.
“We tried to tell him the danger was coming because Vettel had the fastest vehicle at the end”.
Verstappen was in the running for fourth place in the standings over the weekend, but had to settle for fifth after finishing behind Vettel.
Max Verstappen had a scare at the first turn, which dropped him to the bottom of the order.
“The battle out there with Max was unreal”.
