Kate Lucas of Denver said she heard through the grapevine about the Christmas tree train and made a decision to buy tickets for herself and her boyfriend, Laird Horigan, as a late birthday present to him.
“It’s the smell. You can’t beat the smell”.
Leyland cypress is the best tree for this area. Her husband, Waverly Township Supervisor Bob Reits, learned of the program this year and they chose to help, she said.
“At first we were like, are they doing it this year?”

The Christmas Farm in Mindoro has been in the Miller family for 60 years and owner Brad said he enjoys seeing customers return to his farm year after year.
