Mourinho charged with improper conduct by FA
Bastian Schweinsteiger could be in line for his first start under Jose Mourinho when Manchester United face West Ham in the EFL Cup.
With Mourinho fined £50,000 and warned as to his future conduct earlier this month for media comments about referee Anthony Taylor – the fourth official against West Ham at the weekend – the United manager’s latest charge could come with a heavier punishment than usual for such an offence.
This is obviously just the first step for the Frenchman.
“When you’re the Manchester United manager, you’re a statesman and you can not behaviour like that”.
He was given one match bans for both of his last two dismissals.
With Chelsea: £8,000 fine after being sent to the stands by Chris Foy during defeat by Aston Villa.
“There are maybe reasons to express some frustration”.
His absence is unwelcome news for manager Slaven Bilic who has seen strikers such as Italy global Simone Zaza fail to impress whilst experienced former England worldwide Andy Carroll and Ghanaian star Andre Ayew have been sidelined through injury.

“I think it’s time for Mourinho now to start winning and shut up”.
The result left United in sixth, eight points off the top four and 11 points behind leaders Chelsea, following a run of just one win in their last seven Premier League matches. “You have a scan, the opinion of the medical team and then we see how he feels”. We have tough games coming up against Arsenal and Liverpool. So we are very happy with that.
“We play intense, we win the second balls, we create chances, we move the ball, we control the game, we have more possession than the opponents, we shoot on goal”.
“It is not happening”. “I don’t want any manager, especially him, to be sent off. I’m going for Man United”.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic said he would be making changes to the team but said he was confident the players coming in could help the Hammers reach the semi-finals.
“I am not happy with the position. It is only a matter of time when we get the points”.
