‘Gilmore Girls’ Fans Are Freaking Out Over The Show’s Last Four Words
Final spoiler warning: Don’t keep reading if you don’t know how the series ends!
There had been some previous speculation that Rory would become a teacher, but anyone that’s watched the new episodes knows that’s just a possibility she might take on later and not what she’s actually doing.
It certainly is – and surely leaves the door ajar for more from Stars Hollow?

The larger-than-life portrait of Richard prompting a fight with Emily and the truth coming out about how Lorelai crushed her mother after the funeral had me watching through my fingers. “He’ll find someone awesome someday”. The people want to see Mrs. Kim again, and Babette, and Kirk, and if those names aren’t meaningful to you, this revival probably isn’t intended for you, particularly. If you are a fan of shows standing for a grand theme, this one being the circular nature of life, the ending is ideal. I know I should, but I don’t have a hankering for it.
“I was a little nervous at first, sure”, Gunn said of stepping back into quirky Kirk’s shoes. Kept craving those apples, and this morning, boy, was I craving an apple. Engineered – or rather re-engineered – for an emotional wallop as much as for laughs, this is a big-hearted, generous, deeply felt gift to fans who years ago were left wondering about all the what-might-have -beens.

We weren’t told who the father of Rory’s baby is, and this has started a guessing game on whose it could be. Everyone’s talking about the piece, including Luke, who has now posted a copy of it behind every single menu at his diner.

“Gilmore Girls” ushered in the century with a reminder that no matter what else was happening in the world, you could find refuge in home, family and each other.
However, Bledel did reveal that she’s already been imagining about what kind of mother Rory would be.
Each of the four one-hour-and-half movies will be written and directed by Shermann-Palladino.
“It did surprise me”, she admitted in an interview with ET Online. It’s hardly surprising that Michel is married to a man – but it certainly took long enough for Gilmore Girls to confirm that he’s gay. “It does kind of, hmm, it does kind of throw you”.

It is fun to have them all back, because Amy wrote such great scenes for each one”, she says, acknowledging the uncertainty of her character’s love life. “I think [Christopher] would be happy!” Sherman-Palladino is thankful that she still managed to end Gilmore Girls with the ending she reportedly had in mind since 2000.
