Salma Hayek Won’t Say Donald Trump’s Name; Know Why Here!

Online, Hayek said, “Thanks to that [the Mexico comments] all the things that he said – I don’t repeat and I don’t say his name because I don’t want to give him extra publicity – but beyond him – this concept of America being a place where there is no discrimination, and it’s not racist anymore”.

The 48-year-old actress and her seven-year-old “mini-me” lit up the red carpet at the Bing Theater at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Valentina is Hayek’s only child by husband Francois-Henri-Pinault, whom she married in 2009.

“I’d be surprised if he did something courageous and meaningful that nobody found out about”, she continued, adding that what Trump said was “not courageous and meaningful”.

The “Frida Kahlo” star has sparked up some anger amongst Mexicans again because she has remained quiet during the whole Donald Trump debacle.

“Some I assume are good people, but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we are getting”, Trump was quoted as saying during his speech. “At least he brought a light into a real problem”.

But Salma Hayek does believe Donald Trump serves a positive goal in America, if only to demonstrate the discrimination that minorities face in America every day from people like Trump, who often get away with holding bigoted opinions.

Hayek is producing and starring in the movie “The Prophet,” alongside Quvenzhane Wallis and Liam Neeson.

“It’s actually a grandmother-mother-daughter date night”, she told the news site as Hayek’s mother was also at the event.
