Butler, Wade lead Bulls to 111-105 win over Cavaliers

When LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade in Miami, it was a move that changed the entire landscape of the National Basketball Association.

Wade, in his 14th season, didn’t rule out the possibility of playing with James again at some point in his career, but he made it very clear how happy he was to be in Chicago.

Game Highlights: Aaron Gordon scored a season-high 20, Nikola Vuvevic had 12 points and 11 rebounds and the visiting Magic cruised by the 76ers 105-88.

Much like how the Bucks scored 118 points on just seven 3-pointers Tuesday, the Bulls scored 111 points despite only three 3-pointers.

Meanwhile the Bulls had two more scorers who had 20+ points.

The third quarter saw things slow down quite a bit, with (either the Bulls defense tightening or due to Cavs laziness) the Cleveland offense devolving into lots of isolations. Both teams traded baskets as Cleveland maintained their 8 point lead with 6:58 to play in the half.

Today, the Chicago Bulls have a 10-7 record, third behind only the Raptors and Cavs.

Jae Crowder added 24 points and Avery Bradley had 15 points and nine assists for Boston, which needed a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and finish off the Kings.

Butler lead the Bulls over the defending champ Cavs. It was a big turnaround for the Bulls coming off a loss to the Lakers.

Past Rondo’s own numbers, Gibson said that the Bulls’ point guard was instrumental in leading the Bulls’ offense to match up against a Cavaliers offense that entered the night second in the league in efficiency.
