Hundreds line the streets in Meridian for light parade

Sea Santa Sail-a-Bration in Long Beach has a boat parade that rolls at 5:30 p.m. followed by fireworks.

The boat parade will resume Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. Spectators can catch a glimpse of the decorated boats from the London Bridge, Rotary Park, the English Village or London Bridge Beach.

Santa is expected to arrive at the plaza between 6:45 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the float he rides in the parade. Local fifth grader Matea Willoughby was nominated by Seina Elementary school administration to “flip the switch” and light the Christmas tree!
