Al Gore has ‘extremely interesting conversation’ with Trump

Politico reports that Ivanka will include climate change as one of her “signature” issues, and according to the Trump team, she’s talking to Al Gore today.

When Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader of the House of Representatives, called Donald Trump shortly after the November 8 election, they talked about domestic policy and infrastructure.

“She is really serious about the “care agenda” and can be a strong inside force”, Ms. Slaughter said in an interview.

“You know the hottest day ever was in 1890-something, 98”, Trump recently told The New York Times. Trump’s three eldest children, who work alongside their father at the Trump Organization, as well as on his White House transition team, hardly had a moment to take a break for themselves. Why do that? Why didn’t she just call Gore?

In March, PBS reported that almost all Trump and Ivanka Trump-branded merchandise was not made in the US. Will she try to steer the administration (from which she’s supposed to be separated) once the inauguration rolls around?

Ivanka, however, holds much more progressive views on the issue.

With results showing a almost 11,000-vote margin of victory for Trump in MI, and larger margins in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Stein said “the objective here is not to change the outcome”.

“Last month was the first time we had NYPD taking such a crucial role and huge role in providing security around Trump Tower”, de Blasio said Monday, announcing that he is seeking up to $35 million in reimbursement for providing security from Election Day through Inauguration Day on January 20. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is one of Trump’s most trusted aides, and the couple are reportedly house-hunting in Washington. He also said the former Democratic vice president would not meet with Trump himself…

But the Trumps can’t have it both ways. Many experts are suggesting Ivanka Trump may be the most influential first daughter in American history. Trump can’t have anti-climate staffers and get credit for his climate-friendly daughter.

The Trump children’s involvement in their father’s presidency has been under increased scrutiny given their extensive jobs in his business ventures.

During the campaign, Gore once said Trump’s policies would “take us toward a climate catastrophe”. These trusts are contingent on being managed by someone who keeps asset information completely secret from the trustor, meaning that Ivanka and her brothers would essentially “promise not to tell” their father information about the family businesses.
