Tom Brady says he knows why ex-teammate Darrelle Revis is struggling

But the Jets managed another one to slip away on a day that quarterback Tom Brady was not his best for New England.

Fitzpatrick, back as the starter after missing New York’s last game with a sprained knee, was 22 of 32 for 269 yards and two TDs.

The wide receiver’s right foot came down inbounds and while his left foot never touched the ground his backside did.

Hogan hauled in a 25-yard pass, getting open inside the Jets 10-yard line just before the two-minute warning, setting up the eventual winning touchdown. Jones and Keefe later broke down the key plays of the game, the performance of Stephen Gostkowski, and the decline of Darrelle Revis. Perhaps there is something going on there that simply isn’t serious enough to keep him out of games, or land him on the injury report.

Brady went the extra mile to poke fun at himself later in the day when his Facebook page posted a video of the 39-year-old’s audition for fullback James Develin’s job.

Alan Branch blocked a field goal attempt by Nick Folk. On the afternoon, Enunwa posted five catches for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Gostkowski gave the Patriots their first lead by booting a 29-yard field goal with 7:34 remaining in the third.

Ruled incomplete on the field, replays showed that Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa had made a terrific catch over Malcolm Butler and managed to keep his derriere in bounds for a touchdown with 10:17 left. The MVP frontrunner will be a no-brainer QB1 against Los Angeles in Week 13.
