Carr overcomes injury as Raiders edge Panthers

Oakland tied the game after it successfully completed the two-point conversion. On Sunday, the turn of events took exactly two scrimmage plays into the second half.

This seems to be the best Raiders team since 2002’s AFC Championship team.

Oakland prevailed at the very end in thrilling fashion (thanks to Khalil Mack) and brought home a 35-32 victory. Mack recovered to seal the victory.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr dislocated his right pinky finger in two places, as confirmed by his brother and NFL Network analyst David Carr on Monday afternoon. Carolina’s schedule won’t help. The race for the last NFC wild card spot is wide open at the moment, with teams like the Vikings, Redskins, Eagles, Bucs, Saints, and Cardinals all vying for that last spot.
