Kanye West is ‘released from hospital’ after being admitted for exhaustion

A spokeswoman for West’s wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, said in an email there were no updates and referred queries to West’s representatives.

However, it appears he has lots of support in his recovery, as his wife Kim rarely left his side during his stay in UCLA Medical Center, and even celebrated America’s Thanksgiving holiday last week in hospital with Kanye.

Rumors were spreading about discord in the West household with sources saying Kardashian was fed up with her husband’s antics.

“He went to the hospital at will under the advice of his physician”, a source told PEOPLE, adding that the entertainer “was not restrained” and “went freely”.

Police and paramedics were called to the home around 1:20 p.m. November 21 after a report of an unspecified disturbance involving West and someone else in the house.

The family threw an early birthday party for Kim’s son Saint on Wednesday, but Kanye was not in attendance.

Prior to the hospitalization, Kanye had been making headlines for erratic behavior at his latest shows, including going on a lengthy rant in which he took shots at longtime friends Beyonce and Jay Z.

According to a source close to the Kardashian/Jenner family, Kim’s sisters were glad Kanye was already home, as reported by Daily Mail. She is also concerned about the relationship the rapper has with his children North and Saint.

But Kanye’s breaking point came with Donda’s memorial, and he cancelled his Los Angeles concert on November 20 – the same date her funeral had taken place in 2007 – before scrapping his entire tour.

Kanye is believed to have suffered a breakdown following troubles within his marriage.
