A new app from Harper Collins lets users read iconic passages from George R.R. Martin’s book series without having to read thousands of pages.

Game of Thrones fans (or the Game of Thrones curious) can download the app now on the Apple App Store.

A recent post by George R.R. Martin, the author of the series, on his blog, “Not A Blog”, has shared the great chart-topping news to fans of the series.

Since reading from the beginning may be hard, as there are some significant changes from the books to the television series, so the app provides spoiler free details and will only focus on giving fans supplement in the world of Westeros.

The app now includes 40 excerpts from the five published books in A Song of Ice and Fire, none of which takes more than half an hour to read.

The app which aims to introduce the written word to fans of the TV show is being marketed by the publisher as a bridge product according to Entertainment Weekly.

Whatever the “no spoiler” function, many die-hard followers know that there’s little or no to be spoiled. Book readers and TV viewers are pretty much on equal footing.
