Dearborn First United Methodist Church invites public to Christmas services

Mechanicsville Baptist Church will hold a precepts Bible study of the Sermon on the Mount beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17. There will also be a special story time for children during the service. A survey of 1,000 Protestant pastors by LifeWay Research found that churches keeping their doors closed on Christmas Sunday are in the minority. There will be no Sunday school. Silent Night will be sung by candlelight as worshipers gather in a circle around the sanctuary. You will enjoy both events.

All Saints Lutheran Christmas Day service: 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25. May peace be your gift at Christmas and your Blessing all year through. Photo directory retakes are being scheduled for January 5-7. A combined service will be at 10:45 a.m. December 25, when there will be no Sunday school or evening activities. This intimate and relaxed Christmas celebration will be followed by the opportunity to participate in Mobile Meals, a monthly service project where volunteers help to pack and deliver breakfasts and lunches to the homeless population at Newark Penn Station.

We are very excited to share in the celebration of Christmas with the community.
