Ronda Rousey defeated in under a minute

Prior to her defeat to Holm, Rousey managed her previous five wins with a cumulative time of over three minutes.

Ronda Rousey has been away from the UFC limelight for over a year now, and his former boyfriend Brendan Schaub has expressed his concerns upon her impending comeback this weekend. Up until that point, Rousey charged towards Nunes recklessly-much like she did against Holly Holm-in an effort to drag the fight to the canvas. “I don’t care about interviews and I don’t care how I look”, Ronda said.

“I trained for this girl since my first fight in UFC, I proved to everybody I’m the best on the planet”.

Rousey, a former Olympic judo medalist, is one of MMA’s biggest stars and has helped widen the sport’s global appeal but she looked off the pace as Brazil’s Nunes exploded into action with a flurry of big punches. Friday’s 135-pound clash was the headliner for UFC 207.

When asked if he thought fans would see Rousey back in the octagon again, however, White was less sure, and added that there was no answer on that front yet. “And I was literally sitting there thinking about killing myself”.

Should featherweight Cris “Cyborg” Justino avoid a year-long suspension because of a recent positive test for a diuretic, she too could be an intriguing opponent. However, Nunes dominated the fight with series of successful blows to Rousey’s face from the first bell.

With just 48 seconds on the clock, referee Herb Dean stepped in to wave off the fight and leave Rousey looking stunned.

The defeat has left question marks over her future in the sport. “I told her that at the very beginning when she started this, I said ‘You’re smart and attractive, let the stupid people get punched in the face.’ Sorry, stupid people!”

It wasn’t supposed to end like this for Ronda Rousey.

“If it just happened right now I wouldn’t be nervous at all”, she said. Rousey’s dominance then difficulty should serve as a cautionary tale to fighters everywhere.

He did the same thing on Twitter Friday, writing: ‘You just got knocked the f*** out’. She won six UFC matches and 12 consecutive MMA match.
