McConnell: Americans ‘Will Not Tolerate’ Dems Blocking SCOTUS Nom
Schumer is all but saying that Democrats will filibuster anyone Trump nominates and that the GOP likes, and is declaring Trump’s pick illegitimate entirely. But now that Senate Republicans have broken precedent by refusing to confirm a Supreme Court nominee, Democrats are planning their own form of payback-and they’re taking a page out of the G.O.P. playbook to do it.

Cosgrove considered that and said he couldn’t get out of his Cleveland Clinic commitment, the source said.
New York’s senior Democratic senator reiterated pledges to work with Trump and Republicans in Congress whenever possible.
Schumer, potentially Trump’s top adversary in Congress, quickly added that he is aware the president-elect may be trying to flatter him.
In a December 21 tweet, Schumer called Mulvaney’s fiscal policies – including his push for cuts to Medicare and Social Security – “a deal breaker” for Trump’s selection for budget chief.
Spicer was asked on This Week about Trump’s Twitter statement December 22 that the U.S.
