Final Logan Trailer Is Here To Get Your Hopes Up
The next cut shows Xavier, Logan (Wolverine), and X23 sitting around, and Logan has a X-Men comic his. Midway through, it’s revealed that she’s more similar to Logan that one might’ve thought, proving that director James Mangold and Jackman will be earning that R-rating. It also looks to reduce the scope of previous films to a more personal battle being waged with the introduction of Dafne Keen as X-23, or Laura Kinney. You can find much more on the movie right here. Hugh Jackman teased the fans on Wednesday about the upcoming trailer amidst the steady flow of still images from the movie.
But at the same time, Sony seems to be distancing its film from the unrealistic and sometimes silly action scenes featured in the comics and past “X-Men” movies.
It very much looks like Logan is on track to be a handsome, ultraviolent swan-song for Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The film stars Hugh Jackman (in his final performance as the iconic character), Patrick Stewart (X-Men), Stephen Merchant (Portal 2), Doris Morgado (2 Guns), Elizabeth Rodriguez (The Drop), Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), and Richard E. Grant (Dracula). When Logan was flipping through X-23’s comics, he told her the events in the X-Men books weren’t exactly how things really happened.
What’s super cool about the issue numbers is that the real “Uncanny X-Men #132” is the issue in which Donald Pierce, a cyborg villain of the X-Men, first appears.
Logan shot in Louisiana, New Mexico, and MS last summer and will reportedly be based around the comic book “Old Man Logan” by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.
“Logan” will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
FOX has a new trailer for “Logan”, the next installment to the popular “Wolverine” franchise.
One of the most interesting aspects of Logan is the relationship between Wolverine and, well, himself.
