To prevent similar battery failures in the future, the company is introducing a new eight-point battery safety check. So much so that the company has developed its own voice assistant, Bixby, which in future will come in the Samsung Galaxy S8.
The infinity display design of the phone is expected to take up majority of the real estate on the front of the device, promising a very high screen-to-body ratio.
Along with a gap for an S Pen, the leaked case also reveals that Samsung could include a dual speaker on the S8.
There’s also plenty of talk that Samsung’s S8 will be the fastest Android smartphone ever with rumours suggesting the device will get exclusive use of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 chip. Stay tuned on Mobile & Apps for more updates on the Samsung Galaxy S8 handset.
Details regarding storage are a little more hazy. This radical new design has reportedly resulted in the fingerprint scanner moving to the back. Theories are numerous although Samsung has been quick to react on this case. Apparently, the sources claimed that Samsung plans to release a range of accessories for the Galaxy S8.
Earlier this week, Samsung made it clear that they are still committed to the Note Series and this signals on the development of the Galaxy Note 8. This information report comes a day after the company said that the Galaxy S8 would not be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 that will be held in Barcelona next month.
Launched in August, the Galaxy Note 7 was quickly linked to reports of overheating and fires by phone owners around the world. The handset may contain 64GB of ROM and support expansion up to 256GB. Making the desktop computer setup possible is Samsung’s version of Microsoft’s Continuum.
Since Samsung Galaxy S8 processors will be using the 10nm process, it is possible that the OEM is targeting to debut the Galaxy S9 with chipsets based on this 7nm process.
